Hello Everyone,
I will attempt to write this blog again, for the 3 rd time. I am writing it in my windows email. For some reason the last two said it was sent and I lost it. no record both times and the computer froze. The reason I am writing it in my hotmail account is because the computer is blocking my gmail. Apparently, this is why I cannot get to the dashboard of the blogger. I am signed out now and can't get back. The computer is very sick. So if this is successful in getting sent to my sister or someone who can post, Then I will have my blog.
Needless to say, that most of my day was writing my blog and pulling my hair out! So far it is 4:19pm and I have not gotten contacts. I don't know if I will or should at this point of the day. I think that getting my blog on and trying to contact some of the 100+ contacts that I have made would be in my best interest and theirs.
That is so far today. I want to back up to Friday. Like I said I could not blog and ended up forgetting to put my report in. I was really upset that I could not get into the dashboard, but at the same time excited about what I had planned for the weekend.
I woke up on Friday, my hip was pretty bad. I finished making posters and fliers and took off for the streets. It started to rain, so I found dry places to put them. Library, bars, restaurants, deli, Laundromat, supermarkets.
I stood in the parking lot in the rain, limping with one crutch. I did get one contact in the lot and the bartenders. I did not go looking for the contact info. I wanted people to not feel like they were being prospected. I wanted people to come to my home see what we are about, the caring and giving part.
When people give me a scuff about helping another country and not here. I just tell them that; this is what out company is doing now. They help non-profits all over the world and it don't matter where. But this is how it works. The company is set up that when you are a Together We Can Change the World member YOU are able to raise money for what ever you feel that is important to you. Do you know we have 155,000 members? Can you imagine how many of them have something set up for their cause? Can you imagine how many people are being affected when you buy something using our methods. You are always making a difference. I have 3 different causes that I raise money for child abuse coalition in long Island, Mothers against drunk drivers and my homeless shelter. I also tell these people who bark at the idea of helping in Uganda that the forest is being depleted because it is the only means for people to cook. And that is not good for us! It does affect us in a very big way.
When I got home Friday night I was soaked. I ate changed and started to make copies of the solar oven program for pamphlets. My printer jammed and it is high up. Well, in short I took a fall and now I have a injured shoulder and my chest and ribs are bruised.
Saturday I set up my table. I put ice-tea, a basket of healthy products to raffle off, my $25.00 restaurant gift certificates that I bought for $2.00 on my mall at restruant.com to raffle off, T-day t-shirts, and next to my table at the edge of the driveway I put my TRIKKE to raffle off - put a sign on it; this is adult size- Raffle is for a child size. this is all for the homeless shelter. I had my laptop And last but not least I had my pamphlets for the Solar Oven Factory Project. I put baskets for food and clothing donations and signs all over the place.
TRIKKE is in our mall. It is like a scooter. I got one a few months ago. It came to me that these can and should be gifted to schools. If I can get a team of kids involved in doing the business and then selling raffle tickets for the winner to either win a TRIKKE or something else. the kid picks a school that they want to gift it to. They sell enough raffle tickets for the prize plus enough to buy a few TRIKKES in their own mall. (first buying the Amex or visa gift card with the money) making money on both purchases for themselves. And they would have it delivered directly to the school. This could be an on going thing all over the world. They are world wide. I did talk to the CEO a few months ago about my idea and how huge it would be if they got their own world changer mall before I got my team started. Maybe they will. Am I a devil or what? They sent me these tiny little give away TRIKKES and 2 posters.
I did not raise more than $14.00 on Saturday. my neighbor that I had taken her contact info last week came over with a food donation,. She had seen the presentation and so far loves the idea and made a comment that sounds like everyone should be doing it and be a World Changer. She was also looking at the certificate program. I think that i WILL HAVE A WORLD CHANGER!
When we were packing up. this lady stopped in and wanted to know about the TRIKKE. After telling her what my plans were with kids she was amazed. And said; Tell me how can I be a World Changer! I want to do that with the kids! I might have another!
Although the turnout was not big, to me it was huge! I am making our presence known and what we are about! I got 8 contacts.
Sunday it rained so bad that I could not set up. But everything is there for the next time! See everyone later.

Week 3-Thusday- T-Day is What I Say!
hello Everyone,
I will make this short and sweet. Well, maybe not so sweet. I just don't got the hee hoe to move to and fro. So, what I decided I will do is do my best to get the word out,( in really 1 day) About T-day!
I will be raising money, food, necessities,toys, and clothing for the homeless on Saturday and Sunday. Also, I will give it a go with the certificates and the solar oven project in Uganda.
I will do whatever I can to get the word out to the contacts I have gotten. Posters and fliers in the neighborhood I hope to do. That will be a challenge. My husband just found crutches in the garage out,so I will see. If not, I will just make the best of it and see who passes and who will be curious and stop. Something is better than nothing. I figure when people see it going on at my home, maybe they will be making their way even during the week, ounce they see what I am doing.
I bought some t-day t shirts a few months ago for this. so that will also be sold for my homeless shelter. I also have some gift certificates for restaurants in the area from restaurant.com that I am raffling. maybe sell some ice tea. it will be interesting to see. No contacts today! Talk soon

Week 3-wed-Lights Out!
Hello Everyone!
Not much to say about today. I could not walk. I did manage to make some calls. Got hold of one and is not interested. Another did not see the presentation. Sent out some emails. Got one back, she said to take her off my mailing list. Ithen I got an email from someone who wants me to look at their website. I met them where I go dancing. I gave them my card a couple of weeks ago and she did not give me her info. I called her and heard her out and actually will do the free advertising with her but not the business. She is supposed look at the sight on Sunday. The launch of her site is on Saturday. I could talk on the phone anymore or I could not even think of going out. Going down the stairs was not an option neither is trying to walk.
I was going to try and go to a free concert tonight and get some leads. I was very happy it poured with thunder and lighting and to boot our lights went out for an 1 1/2 hours. Well, at least 1 contact came, and I did finally get my blog in. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.
I cannot get on anyone's blob except for Tess. Till tomorrow!

Week 3-Tuesday- I'm Hip!
hello Everyone!
Today it was gorgeous out! My daughter was home from work again. She had some errands to run. Me, I had a mission. My Hip had one too. I could barely walk-sciatica. I did what ever I could to try and ease the pain. It took awhile for my leg to listen to me and get in the car with the other one. Once I did that every bump and turn was a nightmare. I just drove my daughter here and there and just stayed in the car.
After she was done, I still had no contacts,and it was 5pm. I did not want to talk to anyone. I just wanted to go home and wallow in my pain. She wanted to go to the
beach and just hang out. Well, I really did not want to go, but she has not been able to enjoy the summer and me I really needed to talk to someone,anyone, at least one.
The first 3 people would not give me their info. one did take mine. I was not discouraged, it was just that when I spoke every time I just moved a little my enthusiasm was cut down by pain.
We were hungry so we went into the Beach Hut. I ordered my food and spoke to the young mam at the counter, he just gave me his email. After finishing my food I started to mingle and talk to the moms with kids. I realized during this that I was an hour late to call someone from yesterday. I went to a quieter spot and called. No answer. I just was not myself, but I did manage to get 6 contacts.
I hope tomorrow I won't feel so old and just get to do what I want not what my bdy wants to do! Now I am sitting here with a huge headache, from the stress of the other. I need to take a hot bath in this heat and go to bed! Night!

wk3-Monday Halfway through the boot camp!
Hello Everyone!
I got up about 3am this morning. I could not sleep. I still don't feel good. And on top of it my hip is really giving me a pain in the X#@%! So I ended up setting my alarm for 10:30 for the 11:00 boot camp call and laid down at 9. I did not even hear my alarm. I woke up it was 11:20.
I got on the call then after tried to listen to the recording. I can't click on it and many others to listen. I also read all the blogs between Thursday and today from day 1 of their journey. The only one I can comment on is Tess's. Guys your doing a great job!
I printed out the local merchant mall presentation, made copies and stapled invitation cards to them. then printed out a few flyer's that the business would hand out to their customers and made a few copies and stapled my invites to them as well. I did the same with the solar oven and info on the certificates and samples. But, I just don't feel comfortable going up to people with that. I did give them to businesses today.
Yes, today I parked my car at Argyle lake. My daughter came with me so her dog can enjoy the park. I parked in front of the play ground and there was one mom and a nanny. Got 1 of them to give me their info. The other promised to look and call me.
I then saw this woman with a Macaw parrot on her shoulder. the parrot was wearing a harness with a leash and a diaper. The woman makes them herself. Really neat- to say the least. She was wearing a tee shirt for an organization she raises money for called parrot fanciers club. I said I have been looking for you. She was like huh? I then told her I am with a company that is in existence to to help non-profits. Then we started talking about her organization. She was excited. I told her that I was planning a fund raiser for my homeless shelter. She said she would love to be apart of it- and so would her parrot. She would dress the parrot up and charge people to take a picture with her. Donations would be for her cause and mine and the people she had met she would get the contact info for her mall. Problem is, when she can see the presentation. She has no computer. She will hopefully see it this weekend.
I then left my daughter and her dog and took a walk out of the park and into the village. I spoke to a couple of owners, but if I got the worker gave them the site for them to see and told them if you sign up and then the business likes this,I will put them in your team. I went to 3 restaurants, a golf store, a wellness store, a real estate office, deli.
When I got home I sat down put my report in. I got 11 contacts today. then I made my calls. I left several messages. Twins mom is always out or not able to come to the phone. I told her mom today, please have her call me. She is home with the kids and could be saving allot of money and making some money in the process. She kind of tried to say her daughter would not be interested. I then said, if she shops and she goes to her favorite supermarket or gas station and spends $100.00 a month in each she gets $50.00 back! We have much more. and that is just the tip of the ice berg! the mom said, OK, let me have your number. 2 people said they saw the presentation, but have to see it again and a few said they did not see it yet. I am making progress.OK 8:03 and i am late for boot camp call.Got to go!

Week 2-Friday, Sat, and a little bit of Sunday!
Hello Everyone!
I did not blog on Friday or put in a report. I was feeling crumby all day. I printed out the local merchant mall presentation and a couple of example flyer's. Made 20 copies of each and stapled them each with an invitation attached. Then I printed out 50 copies of info on the solar oven and info on the certificates with a sample of the certificate. I attached an invitation to them as well.
By the time I got everything together it was 2:30,so i decided to give the phone a whirl. I did not have any luck. Hopefully the few I did contact will see the presentation.
I am still having problems with my computer. I still can't get on my GMail. And sometimes we can't even log on. I don't have the time or the patience or know how. It is better with whatever I did do, but I need to get to my emails.
My husband came home and we ate and I started to feel a little better. I started to feel guilty about not getting my contacts for the day. So we decided to go to tanners beach to enjoy the evening on the beach/ there was not concert, but they always have a band on boardwalk. We had 2 hours to enjoy it before they packed it up. I danced and made some friends. Spoke to 5,one of them I got their contact info and one of those was the band. I got their contact info as well. When I asked then about doing a benefit for me for my homeless shelter, he was not interested. I don't think he was interested in anything I had to say. I have gotten many bands to give me their contact info and are willing to give their time for my benefit as long as it does not affect their schedule. He asked me how he would be paid. I told him that it would be up to him to set up a World Changer Mall. Which he can advertise his band in the local merchant mall around the world. It would be my job to help him sign-up contacts that would be generated from that event. We would have many ways of generating money for my cause and thus producing people interested in knowing more about us. This is what I tell them, and if they want to do it without setting up a mall then that is fine. Just donate your time. But, this is really a very smart thing to do.
I went home and got on the computer, it was after 9. I did half of my blog and the computer went out. I was too tired to boot it up and start all over or try and put my contacts in.
Saturday went to my husbands reunion. Over 400 people hanging in a school park. People he, his sister and 2 cousins grew up. Ages 50's to 70.
I did not know anyone except his sis and cousins. His sister won't even look at what I have, been trying for the longest. I don't mention it anymore. His cousins Debbie and Jeff gave me their info. Jeff gave me his sons info. His son is 2o, and writing for a small newspaper in New York City. Hmmmm..... Can do something with that.
I could tell you about all the 22 people that gave me their info but I have to go out now, it is going to pour and if I don't go now Porky is going to be mad. He wants to go to the park. I want to try and get some contacts today. Talk later or tomorrow. Off to the park I go!

Wk 2Thursday! I Got the Boot Camp Bug!
Hello Everyone!
I woke up this morning really sick, earache and all. Last boot camp it went around. LoL! I really was feeling horrible and the rain was pouring down. I went into my office and there was ants. I guess they had enough of the rain too. I just started going nuts in there cleaning.I sat down at the computer and it started acting up like crazy, which by the way for the past 3 hours could not get on line to do my blog.. I cannot access my gmail. And now we are having problem getting on line. I have to figure it out.
This morning after a few hours of fighting ants and the computer i finally decided that I needed to take a nap. I figured that I was in no shape to do much of anything. when I woke up it was 12:30 and I did not feel any better. I started making calls to my contacts. I did get in touch with a few but they did not see the presentation yet. I have a few call backs scheduled over the next few days. I also tried some more later in the evening. Same thing, have to call them back.
I decided that going out in this weather and the way I was feeling was not a good idea. So I dedcided that I would go through contacts that I had gotten driving the cab for the past few weeks. I got in touch with one. I drove her dad and he liked what heard. He said that his daughter is disabled and does many things for non-profits and would probably love this. He gave her my info and just a few days before I was chosen for the boot camp she called me. When I called her tonight she still did not see it. She said she would see it tonight and I should call her at 10am tomorrow.
I also was trying to get in touch with a youth group called S.T.R.O.N.G. They help to keep kids out of gangs. They are hard to reach. I spoke to a secretary about 2 months ago, sent them info via snail and emails. I need to get in touch with a man named Sergio. Maybe they will be ready now.
I want to get in touch with more youth groups and get them involved with raising money for the homeless shelter and other organizations. I want to also get the local merchants to support one another by getting a World Changer Mall. So many businesses in my area are gone. Every block there is at least 1or2 stores that just could not stay. It is so sad, and we have the answer!
