week 4 monday

Hello Everyone,

I will attempt to write this blog again, for the 3 rd time. I am writing it in my windows email. For some reason the last two said it was sent and I lost it. no record both times and the computer froze. The reason I am writing it in my hotmail account is because the computer is blocking my gmail. Apparently, this is why I cannot get to the dashboard of the blogger. I am signed out now and can't get back. The computer is very sick. So if this is successful in getting sent to my sister or someone who can post, Then I will have my blog.

Needless to say, that most of my day was writing my blog and pulling my hair out! So far it is 4:19pm and I have not gotten contacts. I don't know if I will or should at this point of the day. I think that getting my blog on and trying to contact some of the 100+ contacts that I have made would be in my best interest and theirs.

That is so far today. I want to back up to Friday. Like I said I could not blog and ended up forgetting to put my report in. I was really upset that I could not get into the dashboard, but at the same time excited about what I had planned for the weekend.


I woke up on Friday, my hip was pretty bad. I finished making posters and fliers and took off for the streets. It started to rain, so I found dry places to put them. Library, bars, restaurants, deli, Laundromat, supermarkets.

I stood in the parking lot in the rain, limping with one crutch. I did get one contact in the lot and the bartenders. I did not go looking for the contact info. I wanted people to not feel like they were being prospected. I wanted people to come to my home see what we are about, the caring and giving part.

When people give me a scuff about helping another country and not here. I just tell them that; this is what out company is doing now. They help non-profits all over the world and it don't matter where. But this is how it works. The company is set up that when you are a Together We Can Change the World member YOU are able to raise money for what ever you feel that is important to you. Do you know we have 155,000 members? Can you imagine how many of them have something set up for their cause? Can you imagine how many people are being affected when you buy something using our methods. You are always making a difference. I have 3 different causes that I raise money for child abuse coalition in long Island, Mothers against drunk drivers and my homeless shelter. I also tell these people who bark at the idea of helping in Uganda that the forest is being depleted because it is the only means for people to cook. And that is not good for us! It does affect us in a very big way.


When I got home Friday night I was soaked. I ate changed and started to make copies of the solar oven program for pamphlets. My printer jammed and it is high up. Well, in short I took a fall and now I have a injured shoulder and my chest and ribs are bruised.


Saturday I set up my table. I put ice-tea, a basket of healthy products to raffle off, my $25.00 restaurant gift certificates that I bought for $2.00 on my mall at restruant.com to raffle off, T-day t-shirts, and next to my table at the edge of the driveway I put my TRIKKE to raffle off - put a sign on it; this is adult size- Raffle is for a child size. this is all for the homeless shelter. I had my laptop And last but not least I had my pamphlets for the Solar Oven Factory Project. I put baskets for food and clothing donations and signs all over the place.

TRIKKE is in our mall. It is like a scooter. I got one a few months ago. It came to me that these can and should be gifted to schools. If I can get a team of kids involved in doing the business and then selling raffle tickets for the winner to either win a TRIKKE or something else. the kid picks a school that they want to gift it to. They sell enough raffle tickets for the prize plus enough to buy a few TRIKKES in their own mall. (first buying the Amex or visa gift card with the money) making money on both purchases for themselves. And they would have it delivered directly to the school. This could be an on going thing all over the world. They are world wide. I did talk to the CEO a few months ago about my idea and how huge it would be if they got their own world changer mall before I got my team started. Maybe they will. Am I a devil or what? They sent me these tiny little give away TRIKKES and 2 posters.

I did not raise more than $14.00 on Saturday. my neighbor that I had taken her contact info last week came over with a food donation,. She had seen the presentation and so far loves the idea and made a comment that sounds like everyone should be doing it and be a World Changer. She was also looking at the certificate program. I think that i WILL HAVE A WORLD CHANGER!

When we were packing up. this lady stopped in and wanted to know about the TRIKKE. After telling her what my plans were with kids she was amazed. And said; Tell me how can I be a World Changer! I want to do that with the kids! I might have another!

Although the turnout was not big, to me it was huge! I am making our presence known and what we are about! I got 8 contacts.

Sunday it rained so bad that I could not set up. But everything is there for the next time! See everyone later.

Week 3-Thusday- T-Day is What I Say!

hello Everyone,
I will make this short and sweet. Well, maybe not so sweet. I just don't got the hee hoe to move to and fro. So, what I decided I will do is do my best to get the word out,( in really 1 day) About T-day!
I will be raising money, food, necessities,toys, and clothing for the homeless on Saturday and Sunday. Also, I will give it a go with the certificates and the solar oven project in Uganda.
I will do whatever I can to get the word out to the contacts I have gotten. Posters and fliers in the neighborhood I hope to do. That will be a challenge. My husband just found crutches in the garage out,so I will see. If not, I will just make the best of it and see who passes and who will be curious and stop. Something is better than nothing. I figure when people see it going on at my home, maybe they will be making their way even during the week, ounce they see what I am doing.
I bought some t-day t shirts a few months ago for this. so that will also be sold for my homeless shelter. I also have some gift certificates for restaurants in the area from restaurant.com that I am raffling. maybe sell some ice tea. it will be interesting to see. No contacts today! Talk soon

Week 3-wed-Lights Out!

Hello Everyone!
Not much to say about today. I could not walk. I did manage to make some calls. Got hold of one and is not interested. Another did not see the presentation. Sent out some emails. Got one back, she said to take her off my mailing list. Ithen I got an email from someone who wants me to look at their website. I met them where I go dancing. I gave them my card a couple of weeks ago and she did not give me her info. I called her and heard her out and actually will do the free advertising with her but not the business. She is supposed look at the sight on Sunday. The launch of her site is on Saturday. I could talk on the phone anymore or I could not even think of going out. Going down the stairs was not an option neither is trying to walk.
I was going to try and go to a free concert tonight and get some leads. I was very happy it poured with thunder and lighting and to boot our lights went out for an 1 1/2 hours. Well, at least 1 contact came, and I did finally get my blog in. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.
I cannot get on anyone's blob except for Tess. Till tomorrow!

Week 3-Tuesday- I'm Hip!

hello Everyone!

Today it was gorgeous out! My daughter was home from work again. She had some errands to run. Me, I had a mission. My Hip had one too. I could barely walk-sciatica. I did what ever I could to try and ease the pain. It took awhile for my leg to listen to me and get in the car with the other one. Once I did that every bump and turn was a nightmare. I just drove my daughter here and there and just stayed in the car.

After she was done, I still had no contacts,and it was 5pm. I did not want to talk to anyone. I just wanted to go home and wallow in my pain. She wanted to go to the
beach and just hang out. Well, I really did not want to go, but she has not been able to enjoy the summer and me I really needed to talk to someone,anyone, at least one.

The first 3 people would not give me their info. one did take mine. I was not discouraged, it was just that when I spoke every time I just moved a little my enthusiasm was cut down by pain.
We were hungry so we went into the Beach Hut. I ordered my food and spoke to the young mam at the counter, he just gave me his email. After finishing my food I started to mingle and talk to the moms with kids. I realized during this that I was an hour late to call someone from yesterday. I went to a quieter spot and called. No answer. I just was not myself, but I did manage to get 6 contacts.
I hope tomorrow I won't feel so old and just get to do what I want not what my bdy wants to do! Now I am sitting here with a huge headache, from the stress of the other. I need to take a hot bath in this heat and go to bed! Night!

wk3-Monday Halfway through the boot camp!

Hello Everyone!
I got up about 3am this morning. I could not sleep. I still don't feel good. And on top of it my hip is really giving me a pain in the X#@%! So I ended up setting my alarm for 10:30 for the 11:00 boot camp call and laid down at 9. I did not even hear my alarm. I woke up it was 11:20.

I got on the call then after tried to listen to the recording. I can't click on it and many others to listen. I also read all the blogs between Thursday and today from day 1 of their journey. The only one I can comment on is Tess's. Guys your doing a great job!
I printed out the local merchant mall presentation, made copies and stapled invitation cards to them. then printed out a few flyer's that the business would hand out to their customers and made a few copies and stapled my invites to them as well. I did the same with the solar oven and info on the certificates and samples. But, I just don't feel comfortable going up to people with that. I did give them to businesses today.

Yes, today I parked my car at Argyle lake. My daughter came with me so her dog can enjoy the park. I parked in front of the play ground and there was one mom and a nanny. Got 1 of them to give me their info. The other promised to look and call me.

I then saw this woman with a Macaw parrot on her shoulder. the parrot was wearing a harness with a leash and a diaper. The woman makes them herself. Really neat- to say the least. She was wearing a tee shirt for an organization she raises money for called parrot fanciers club. I said I have been looking for you. She was like huh? I then told her I am with a company that is in existence to to help non-profits. Then we started talking about her organization. She was excited. I told her that I was planning a fund raiser for my homeless shelter. She said she would love to be apart of it- and so would her parrot. She would dress the parrot up and charge people to take a picture with her. Donations would be for her cause and mine and the people she had met she would get the contact info for her mall. Problem is, when she can see the presentation. She has no computer. She will hopefully see it this weekend.
I then left my daughter and her dog and took a walk out of the park and into the village. I spoke to a couple of owners, but if I got the worker gave them the site for them to see and told them if you sign up and then the business likes this,I will put them in your team. I went to 3 restaurants, a golf store, a wellness store, a real estate office, deli.
When I got home I sat down put my report in. I got 11 contacts today. then I made my calls. I left several messages. Twins mom is always out or not able to come to the phone. I told her mom today, please have her call me. She is home with the kids and could be saving allot of money and making some money in the process. She kind of tried to say her daughter would not be interested. I then said, if she shops and she goes to her favorite supermarket or gas station and spends $100.00 a month in each she gets $50.00 back! We have much more. and that is just the tip of the ice berg! the mom said, OK, let me have your number. 2 people said they saw the presentation, but have to see it again and a few said they did not see it yet. I am making progress.OK 8:03 and i am late for boot camp call.Got to go!

Week 2-Friday, Sat, and a little bit of Sunday!

Hello Everyone!
I did not blog on Friday or put in a report. I was feeling crumby all day. I printed out the local merchant mall presentation and a couple of example flyer's. Made 20 copies of each and stapled them each with an invitation attached. Then I printed out 50 copies of info on the solar oven and info on the certificates with a sample of the certificate. I attached an invitation to them as well.
By the time I got everything together it was 2:30,so i decided to give the phone a whirl. I did not have any luck. Hopefully the few I did contact will see the presentation.
I am still having problems with my computer. I still can't get on my GMail. And sometimes we can't even log on. I don't have the time or the patience or know how. It is better with whatever I did do, but I need to get to my emails.
My husband came home and we ate and I started to feel a little better. I started to feel guilty about not getting my contacts for the day. So we decided to go to tanners beach to enjoy the evening on the beach/ there was not concert, but they always have a band on boardwalk. We had 2 hours to enjoy it before they packed it up. I danced and made some friends. Spoke to 5,one of them I got their contact info and one of those was the band. I got their contact info as well. When I asked then about doing a benefit for me for my homeless shelter, he was not interested. I don't think he was interested in anything I had to say. I have gotten many bands to give me their contact info and are willing to give their time for my benefit as long as it does not affect their schedule. He asked me how he would be paid. I told him that it would be up to him to set up a World Changer Mall. Which he can advertise his band in the local merchant mall around the world. It would be my job to help him sign-up contacts that would be generated from that event. We would have many ways of generating money for my cause and thus producing people interested in knowing more about us. This is what I tell them, and if they want to do it without setting up a mall then that is fine. Just donate your time. But, this is really a very smart thing to do.
I went home and got on the computer, it was after 9. I did half of my blog and the computer went out. I was too tired to boot it up and start all over or try and put my contacts in.
Saturday went to my husbands reunion. Over 400 people hanging in a school park. People he, his sister and 2 cousins grew up. Ages 50's to 70.
I did not know anyone except his sis and cousins. His sister won't even look at what I have, been trying for the longest. I don't mention it anymore. His cousins Debbie and Jeff gave me their info. Jeff gave me his sons info. His son is 2o, and writing for a small newspaper in New York City. Hmmmm..... Can do something with that.
I could tell you about all the 22 people that gave me their info but I have to go out now, it is going to pour and if I don't go now Porky is going to be mad. He wants to go to the park. I want to try and get some contacts today. Talk later or tomorrow. Off to the park I go!

Wk 2Thursday! I Got the Boot Camp Bug!

Hello Everyone!

I woke up this morning really sick, earache and all. Last boot camp it went around. LoL! I really was feeling horrible and the rain was pouring down. I went into my office and there was ants. I guess they had enough of the rain too. I just started going nuts in there cleaning.I sat down at the computer and it started acting up like crazy, which by the way for the past 3 hours could not get on line to do my blog.. I cannot access my gmail. And now we are having problem getting on line. I have to figure it out.

This morning after a few hours of fighting ants and the computer i finally decided that I needed to take a nap. I figured that I was in no shape to do much of anything. when I woke up it was 12:30 and I did not feel any better. I started making calls to my contacts. I did get in touch with a few but they did not see the presentation yet. I have a few call backs scheduled over the next few days. I also tried some more later in the evening. Same thing, have to call them back.
I decided that going out in this weather and the way I was feeling was not a good idea. So I dedcided that I would go through contacts that I had gotten driving the cab for the past few weeks. I got in touch with one. I drove her dad and he liked what heard. He said that his daughter is disabled and does many things for non-profits and would probably love this. He gave her my info and just a few days before I was chosen for the boot camp she called me. When I called her tonight she still did not see it. She said she would see it tonight and I should call her at 10am tomorrow.

I also was trying to get in touch with a youth group called S.T.R.O.N.G. They help to keep kids out of gangs. They are hard to reach. I spoke to a secretary about 2 months ago, sent them info via snail and emails. I need to get in touch with a man named Sergio. Maybe they will be ready now.

I want to get in touch with more youth groups and get them involved with raising money for the homeless shelter and other organizations. I want to also get the local merchants to support one another by getting a World Changer Mall. So many businesses in my area are gone. Every block there is at least 1or2 stores that just could not stay. It is so sad, and we have the answer!

I am so tired and sick, so goodnight, sleep tigt and don't let the Boot Camp Bug get ya!

Week 2- Wednesday-Porky Gets To Go To The Park

Hello Everyone!
After the Boot camp call today, I start to go through the local merchant mall and the site. I also looked more into the solar oven site. I started printing stuff off. My computer is really giving me problems. I cannot get into my GMail it is blocked.
I made a few calls,only to get no answers, voice mail and people who did not see it yet. I
I went and picked my daughter up from work. She was not ready yet, so I had her meet me in Petco. Petco is one of the stores on our mall. I love Sit and Stay all natural product. I went there to window shop with my dog....and get contacts. After many oooohed and aahhed about my dog I proceeded to share with them. No one would share with me their info. My dog did not mind the hour we spent there. I did not buy anything there,that is one of the the I like to go on my mall and shop with my visa or Amex gift and get paid twice on. When I came out my daughter was talking to two young ladies that she sees all the time in that shopping center. I shared with them and they shared with me.
I dropped my daughter off at home and with my little doggie we went to the park. I met a lot of people and gave my invitation out. They all love my porky. When they had a dog, I shared the wonderful stores we have on our mall. I met a couple of stay at home moms and 1 with a 12 year old teen. I got 4 contacts at the park and 2 at the shopping center. I hope that I start having better luck on the phones. I came home and got no where. Well, tomorrow is another day!

WK-2- Tuesday- I should have brought A Boat!

Hello Everyone,
After bringing my daughter to work this morning, I had to go to the doctor. Stopped at 7-11, no one was about. I would have gotten the guy that works there, but he does not get into such things.
I sat in the doctors office waiting for 1 1/2 hours. Only 5 people were sitting with me. I got 3 contacts out of 5. I decided after the doctor I would spend the day going park hopping with my little Pomeranian/Pekingese . Go from one to the next, looking for kids and moms, especially. Everyone loves my dog,so why not use him.
I got out of the doctor and it was not just raining, but buckets were falling. The streets were flooded. I walked about 7 car lengths to my car and was soaked to the bone. I got in my car with only 3 contacts in hand. I started down the street and only could go slow, cause the rain was so bad. You could hardly see in front. And the floods. I am not a wimp driver, but this even scared me. I have to go about 1/2 way home and then make a turn to the super market and travel a good distance. So I had to make a decision whether or not I should pull over and wait awhile, come back out later, just not get my contacts or just take my time and just get there. I knew that if I went home I would probably not go back out to get my contacts. Waiting for the rain to stop to comfort point would not have worked I would have waited forever. And not getting my contacts just was not an option. So, my car waded through the river streets. When I got to the parking lot I made the turn in and it was bad. the water in some parts were up to the car doors. The water was flowing like a river like rapids. I was like, am I crazy? OK. Where do I park? I went more toward s the middle and found a spot, it was a lot better. Only my feet were in the water.
I went in the refrigerated store. At the entrance was a woman at a table. Newsday! huh- That is exactly what I did a few years ago. New york Newsday. Mine was a chance to win a 50.00 shopping spree! then you get your leads and try to get them signed up for home delivery. She was giving with the subscription a $100.00 gift card for grocery's. First I told her my husband and I used to do it. And then I told her about our certificates and about us. We exchanged info. I really think that she would be great at this.
I went in and tried to think, what should I buy? hmmmm...... chop meat. I was freezing! I approached a few people and was not getting anywhere. I was in there for almost an hour, drenched and freezing, with just my chop meat in my cart. I got on line, figured I did go out of my way for sure. Looking outside from the register, it was still coming down like there was no tomorrow. This older woman in back of me was making comments about it. And soon I was able to ask her if she used the computer. She said she did not use the computer at first, then when I said; OK I was going to ask you if you would like to know how to get $25.00 back in your pocket when you buy $100.00 in groceries, but if you don't use it. she cut me off, Tell me. I did. And she gave me her info, she could not remember her email, but she does have one.
I am home and dry now. I did make a few phone calls. Have not gotten in touch with too many. And the ones I did touch base with, did not see the presentation yet.
So I got my 5! till tomorrow.

week 2-Monday continued- No Info Is Not Good!

Today, I made a bunch of calls. I got some voice mails and left a message. Two people finally did answer their phone . Both did not see the presentation and could not even give any time to me. That is OK. At least I do know that they did know who I was and that it was the right phone number that they gave me. I just called at a bad time for them.
I did get in touch with one of my teenagers. He plays the guitar. I had mentioned to him that I want to get a bunch of kids to learn the song who play instruments and sing for a fund raiser for the homeless. He is very interested. He has been doing various fundraisers the past 3 years. And of couse I told him to listen to Lana. He said he won't have use of a computer until Wednesday.
I went to the beach today. Matter of fact, I made my calls while lounging on a beach chair. A cool breeze now and then, the sun, my bare feet in the sand and my 7-11 coffee! What a Life!
I really had a hard time today getting my contacts. I talked to many at the beach. I think I gave at least 25-40 invitations out. It seemed like more. Today I met the cautious! They listened, they talked,then they would not give me their info. I stayed till 6:30 got two contacts. 2 with phone number, just an email and name.
Time to change my game plan. So, I went shopping and bought milk for 1 hour and 15 min. I got 2 with no name or phone number just an email. The last one was a woman and her teen age kids. She was very excited, and so were the kids. I told them, I was looking for kids to be in a club. They will have their own business and will be making a difference too. The mom was really for it. She could not give me a time to call. She said that her schedule is crazy, to just give her a ring. And that was my day. She gave me her name, email, phone and address. Have a Great night!

Week 2-Monday! It is going to Be A Great One Too!

After the boot camp call I emailed my contacts from the weekend. Saturday, I was going to go to the beach, but my husband wanted to go to Yonkers raceway instead. So wen t went and went to the beach Sunday. I got 2 contacts each day. I could have gotten more. There was certainly enough people, but I was trying to relax too. I did find it kind of hard to approach people at the track. I did talk to at least 9 people 2 would only give me their info. The beach was a different story. I talked to 3 , 2 gave me contact info. I could have approached more, but my husband really wanted me to just relax.
My daughter is home today. She wants to go to the beach. I guess we will go. It is only about 3 miles away. My husband said to me yesterday, there are allot of the same people here. This is a great spot for you to get your contacts and meet the community. I said; I figured it would be. these are the TOWN beaches. Meet the town, and create a Together We Can Change the World town.
Everyday they have a band. I love to dance. I made a lot of friends yesterday. I know that I will see allot of these people again that I danced with. They come here often. Little by little I will share us with them.
I did blog Saturday about my calls. Nothing more to report on the follow-ups. This I think is the hardest part. When you do have an appointment upon meeting them, most of them forget. And if you do get in touch with them they did not see the presentation yet. You have to make sure you document everything. Especially when they are telling their why. Who they are, what they do,what would they like to do or accomplish. Creating a relationship with them will let them know that you are taking an interest in their lives. If you are not trying to contact your contacts, getting your contacts is a waste of time. Each one of them is someone who did give you their info. Trying 1 ,2 3 times to contact them maybe not enough. Things happen in life. Don't ever forget the ones you tried to contact and did not get anywhere with,even it is months, or more. You never know. That is why making good notes is important. I always put where I met them. Sometimes they cannot remember who you are when time lapsed too long. Good notes can help.

day ^? Well it is Saturday! What a Week It Was!

I woke up and started making my calls. My first call was to the lady that is from that is from the country Sri Lanka, right under India. She is leaving to go to Canada today. She took the time to see the presentation. She said she likes the idea and sees how it could help her country,BUT she does not want to put her any of her info online. Well, I told her that it was a very secure site. That if she did not want to use her debit or credit card, she can get a prepaid one and use that. Her concern was even just putting her name and such. She said she was going away for 3 weeks, but her kids would be home. I asked her if she listened to Lana's call. She said no,not yet. I said please make sure you have your kids listen, she said she would and she would listen as well. She is still going to think about it. Her husband, she mentioned was the real objector. And she was talking about other business ventures that went sour. I think, no I know that this woman and her teenagers will eventually see this. Unfortunate for me she is going away for the 3 weeks. But! ! I asked her if she minded me calling her kids during this time and sharing with them about us and maybe they will help her understand more about us. I told her that Ginny helps seed needy ventures, like what is going on in her country. That is why I want to get a teen boot camp going. The kids have to think of something they want to raise money for. Her and her kids would do something grand for their country. Please read my emails I will send you. I will send things for her to read and listen to, and hope that she will feel more comfortable. I think I made a wonderful friend at least! One of my contacts is a wrong number and I just know it was not done on purpose. This woman was the one from Georgia Russia. She seemed very sincere. I got a hold of couple others, but was told they were not home. Some were voice mail, some were just a ringing! I have appointments later! Of to the beach! Have a great Day!

Ginny and anyone else who was on my followers, please follow me on this blog. I had trouble with the first one. the first 2 days. check and see if you are on this one please.
I called back the girl I called earlier at 2:00 as she had said for me to call her at that time. Well, I called back and no answer, Twice. I will try again after my blog. Along with the others that did not give me a time. And one I called earlier asked for me to call her at 8:00. I called her this morning, but she did not see the presentation yet.
I received an email from the woman at the beach. She is with the Chamber of Congress. She said she saw the presentation. It is not for her, but she is sending it off to a friend who might be interested in it. I will get in touch with her to try and find out what it was she feels is not for her. Also, I want to know who to bring it to at the Chamber of congress. I want to discuss with her how kids can and are involved. How I want to get them involved with raising funds for needy causes. Get them in community projects All the while, learning a business, building a team, and making their dreams a reality.

So I was set to go to the beach at 1:00. I just was going to do my calls on the beach. My husband Jerry called, he said wait for him, he wanted to go. He got home changed and we left at 2:45. He was hungry, I was too, but wanted to get my contacts.
On the way to Quizno's I got gas. I got the phone number of the gas attendant there. He wanted to give me his email, but could not remember it. He went in to try and find it for 5 minutes. He is the owner. Well, he started getting customers, he said you just have to call me. I have been trying to get him to see my site for 3 months. He works 12 sometimes 16 hours every day. I am going to print it out for him.
When we got into quiznos the lady at the register gave me her info. then I saw a young woman that I have driven to work many times the past 3 months in the cab. Now I can take her contact info. When I was driving the cab I just talked about what I do. Gave my card if they asked. Only take their info if they volunteered it.
I did not even get to the beach and I got 4 contacts already, one had no email. When we got to the beach it was really nice, 10 minutes later it looked like rain. I was sitting there and I said to my husband. I am going to go Power Malling before it rains. I wanted to get at least 6 more. I picked up my little purple n pink note pad and my invitations, and then these 2 cute 6,7 year old girls wanted to know if I wanted to buy a string necklace from them. I said: Wow own your own business do ya? sure, let me see what you got. I went over to where they were sitting with their parents. I bought the necklace and started talking to the girls and the parents about how kids can do this business and they, the parents can save money on everything they buy. I told them that I am looking for a team of kids of all ages to be in my boot camp. They would be world changers, making a difference. I told them that I am also looking for children who would like to sing in group, or play an instrument for a fundraising event that I am putting together for the homeless. The song is called Together We Can Change the World! I want to get children from all over long Island and Queens to learn the song and all come together for the event. The little girl said she sings and cannot wait. I the mom pointed to another blanket with a teenage couple on it. He plays the guitar. After getting the moms name and email only. I went over to talk to her 17 year old son. His girl did not even look up, so I directed my conversation to him. He gave me all his info. He told me he does some fund raising for 3 years for human rights and others. He seemed quite interested. Well, it started raining and people were starting to scramble. I wanted to keep on, but they didn't. Guys, you have bathing suits on! duh! We were supposed to go to a free concert tonight then I was going line dancing. It stopped raining, but I don't think it is going to stay that way. So I will go line dancing tonight. Maybe some new people there. Or maybe some will want to check me out on being world wide and famous! LOL Maybe they will just figure it out that this is HUGE! This not going to go away! It is not an MLM! It is not a scam! I have a personal mall from there, and she loves it. I am trying to get her to be a World Changer. Have a great weekend! That is 6 beans moved today! Hope to get some more.

Day 5- Really Hot! What A Beach Day!

I got up and had to take my daughter to work! Went to 7-11 to get my coffee and saw someone I know from a couple of years ago. She was a friend of my sister. Wel, I did see her last summer and told her about My Power Mall. We were nothing like it is now. I said to her, You have to see this, its going to rock your world! She was in a hurry, but she had to give me her info before leaving. I did not ask for it yet. s? She said make you keep trying me, I can't even tell you when I am home, so busy.
Ok I am feeling a little overwhelmed. I do see that I am going in a great direction. My daughter is stressing me. I got to take her to and from work. Not much time in between. Today she is going to have to be picked up from work then dropped at the hair salon. I can't go in there, because of the hair spray. So that is not good for getting contacts there.
After dropping her off at her job I was excited knowing I had one contact already and it is someone I know. I went home and called a couple from yesterday that were scheduled. They did not get to seeit yet. I have to call back one at 2 and the other at 8. I will make some more calls when I get to the beach, after I take a swim. LOL! Got to love it! Work from home or the beach or where ever you are.
Like I said I was feeling a little overwhelmed. I got an email from Barbra Harding. She is one of our founding members. Thanks Barbra! You just gave me the Strength I needed.

Day 4 -Pretend to Shop!

Hello Everyone!
I put in my report towards the end of the call. I pushed send at 8:59 my time. It is not showing today's contacts. I got 7.
I had some work to do on my existing team. Then I set out to make a few calls on my boot camp contacts. One, no answer, the other, which was the Chamber of Commerce she was on lunch. Then of course phone interruptions from unrelated matters kept the time ticking. And, I am going on the second day with a headache. I did get all my emails out yesterday. Tonight I am emailing them with Lana's call. Jackie from New York heard the call tonight and called me to help. Ginny, there are still issues for the blind on our site. She is blind and showing me how to email it. I am going to email new ones I got today too.
Tomorrow I want to get out earlier. Today, I went out 4:30, picked up my daughter from work and headed for the grocery store.
My daughter was MAD. She just wanted to pick a quick bite out and go home. I said; no, not enough people. When we got the market, I gave her a list and I wandered and pretended to shop. I got 6 inside and one out. One woman in the store was from Sri Lanka, under India. She told me of the tsunami there a few years ago. The devastation in that country,war and people starving. She said the help is there, but the government won't let them have it. She had me in tears. She was very excited about how she can help them. She kept telling me after she gave me her info, more about her country. She will be going to Canada on a spur of the moment. It could be tomorrow or in 2 weeks. She said just keep trying,She is interested. Her 16 year old daughter was there but wandered by the cakes. I started talking about Lana. She called her daughter over to hear. I cannot wait to see if her daughter would want to roll with this like Lana. I think this family can help many in their country.
One man I met in the supermarket I did not get his info, he had none. He no home. I told him to take my info and get to the Library and contact me ASAP! That is what this company is about. Helping those in need. I sure hope he contacts me.
After getting 4 my daughter was so done. My fifth was easy. A young man in her late teens, my guess and his mom were shopping and I saw them a few times and passed them gave friendly smile nod. Make a little comment on isle 3, then, 5 etc. A big boy needs to eat and I knew they would be there for awhile.
I tell them most of the time not this much, just depends on time, and the way the conversation goes.
I am in a boot camp , in a world wide company called Together We can Change the world. We are in existence to create funds for non-profit organiztions around the world. also, we are able to choose who we would like to help. Everyone has something they feel strongly about, and wants to try and do something. All we have to do is to learn how to Power Shop and share this system with others and teach them. We don't sell anything, we are just giving people a way to save money on their purchases that they do anyway. All for free if you want it. We have a free business mall. I got one contact as I was walking to my car Thank God my daughter was having a hissy fit. How I care about My Power Mall than her. She's 22 years old.
This lady said I have some of them too!, as I opened my hatchback. We started talking about the kids. she has teens and a 20 year old. I then proceeded to tell her. about me looking for kids for my boot camp. And Making a difference as well. Well, I find out she is from Georgia Russia, and she was telling me about her country. She is very excited about us, my daughter was not!
I made it for the call. The only thing that I did not get to do is make calls. Today my routine was a little better. When I stopped thinking how much time I had to get the contacts I slowed my thoughts when speaking. The first few days, I maybe asked 2 when could they see it, when should I call. That is very important. You can get many, many contacts every day, if you don't follow up, your missing out. Well, got to go. till tomorrow.

Sometimes you are Just Too Tired! Even When it was the Best Contact of the day!

Hello Everyone!
Last night I got into bed and started falling asleep and all of a sudden I realized I goofed. One of the girls on the beach did not give me her contact, but she liked what I was sharing with her and said she would get back to me. I forgot about the contact walking to my car. They were setting up for a lobster fest and there was a table there. It was the Chamber of Commerce! The woman I spoke to listened for a minute. Gave me her card and told me to try and call sometime tomorrow,which is today. And then invited me to a meeting at a diner august 2. Then she turned her attention elsewhere. I don't understand how I just did not blog about it. I was so tired. And a headache. Well, Got to go and move the beans!

Day 3 - Life's A Beach!

Hello everyone!

After the call today I intended to go to the beach soon after. Well that did not happen.

I went on the boot camp site and put myself as a follower on each. I hope to catch up on everyone tonight. Then I started to pick out an invitation in the back office. I started putting my website and then it froze. Long story short, I finally printed 60 grocery set of 4. 240 invitations in all. While that was printing out, I started writing an email to send out to my contacts. I did not send it out until I got home from the beach. at 6:30.

I finally left at 3:30. I just wore shorts and a tank top. At that point, it was too late to go swimming. I had to be home by 6:30 to shoot my emails out and put my report in and go to a concert. (I ended up not going to the concert.) And do my blog. Eat? hubby brought a salad home for me. On my way to the beach I stopped at 7-11. The lady at the counter I had spoken to hera couple of times before and gave her my website. I told her I was in a boot camp now with the company. And asked her if she could help me out and see the presentation and I will call her tomorrow. She said she only had a phone, no email. I told her about the certificates. Hmmm I finally saw that sparkle. She could not give me a time. I have not pressed a specific time to call the past couple of days, and usually do. When I was going to my car I saw this young couple with a double stroller. The cutest, tiniest little identical 1 month old twin infant boys, you could just squeeze them. I asked them about the babies, if she was working, and would'nt you love to save money on those diapers? I then proceeded to tell them how they can save so much money with the certificates. Also,I will show you how your children will have all the money they need for college, by the time they get out of high school. I got a big: Really? What do we have to do? I have to call her tomorrow, she is home all the time.

I finally got to the beach, it was cool and windy. Just a few blocks away, it is so hot and no breeze. The beach is 10 minutes from my house. People were starting to go home. I set up my chair in a spot where it was in the middle of things. It was not crowded. I struck up conversations with several people, about 8. Only three gave me their info.

One had a 7 year old boy with a mohawk look on top of his head. He was soaked from swimming and the hair was straight up, not one strand out of place. I commented how it did not get messed up. She said glue. She said she allowed it, if he could have church hair on Sundays. I ended up getting her info.

One was a couple of young ladies and another one with her mother. They looked liked they were all in their late teens early 20's. Well, that gave me 5 contacts.

I had to get home and I was starting to get a headache. I got a half a block away from my house and saw my neighbor. I said Hi and talked for awhile. Now, I have been telling her about this for almost a year. at first I did not because I was unsure. She kept telling me no, don't really use the computer much, and I don't this and that. A couple of weeks ago, I had mentioned again about the certificates and she started getting a little interested. She said that she would like to look. I will sit down over the weekend or sooner with her, what ever comes first for her.

Then I saw another neighbor, she was in a little rush. I just said, look again at this there are things I think you will like. Just give me your email. I have # already. I got in the house with my 7 contacts, and a mean headache. My gaol was 10.

My husband was upset that I did not go to the concert. I would have pushed myself to go, if I was able to get my report in. The computer froze again. I got them in at 7:30. Whew!

If I went to the concert I would have gotten at least 1 or 2 more. Maybe more. But I needed to do to much. Tomorrow is another concert, I might go to. I need to make my calls. Contacts are no good if you don't contact them!

Oh my God! I did it! it is working!I can post!

Day 2 of the Boot camp! Well I am haveing trouble with my computer, cell phone, and the blog site. My older blog's dashboard is also saying no blogs.

I decided that I will make a new blog and see what happens. after creating this one and submitting it, if it does the same, I don't know. I know this happened before, but I was signed in to the wrong account. that is not the case. Anyone, Help! I had to comment on my new blog. just to be able to do my blog. so read yesterdays blog in the comment.

Ok, the past 2 weeks I have not been sleeping right. CAT scan had shown something and the wait was wearing. I don't have CANCER! I might have said that last blog.

I found out yesterday. Well, with that excitement and getting my contacts, the calls, the problems with my blog, I could not sleep all night, but was really pretty useless. I took my daughter to work at 11:00 am and came home and crashed. My plan was to sleep till 2 then head for the beach. Great contacts at the beach, moms and teens! I woke up in a panic at 5:15. I realized my daughter got off at 4. I did not hear the phone. I did not get my 5 contacts, it's 5:15, there is nothing for dinner,make dinner, eat?, I got to get my daughter, and I have to figure out my blog, put my report in and get on the call at 8 -----AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Talk about a panic! I cried! Well, I calmed down and took a deep breath and went to the shopping center. Oh great, my cell phone would not charge. I drove around the shopping center for 45 min looking for her.

All these people. This is what I see, All these Green Globes (World Changers)walking around. Where is that Girl. Hey, I did not get my contacts! My panic starts in again--and this stupid phone is dead. I'm driving, hmmm .....She looks like she will stop and talk to me from my car. I stopped her, excuse me, I see you went shopping, are you getting any money back from your purchase? She said huh? like a rebate? I said, Yeah. If I could show you how you can get money back on everything you buy, like gas for your car, groceries, and much more would you be interested? She said yes. I asked for her info, she said no. She said she would check it out and call me. Another one I stopped, just said; not interested. Where is this girl. I figured maybe she took the bus or a cab. My daughter is 22, so it wasn't like I abandoned my child. I flew home to see if she was home. she was. she was outside too. So I just said I got to go and get my five contacts and something for dinner. Coffee! When I pulled up to 7 -11, I saw through window someone I knew from driving the cab. My dispatcher calls her the scarecrow. Go get the scarecrow. I hate to say it , I won't, never mind. Her name is Sue, she laughs at him. They harass each other on the mic, while I am driving. Well, she remembered me telling her about it in the cab. She loves the idea and everything, but she is afraid to give her info out and she never touched a computer. she has grown kids and grandchildren. She has told me before that she will give them the site. I will see around walking somewhere, so eventually... It takes a few times for many to finally take a look. Some will never. I have talked to her several times. she is very sweet. I got my coffee, I said to the clerk. Ok, you have heard about what I do,now help me out. I go in there alot.

I went and got my gas. The gas attendant, I got his email. I just told him that I was in a boot camp,and you have heard me say that I get paid when I buy my gas. Please give me your contact info and see the site and I will give you a call and email you.

Then I went to the super market. I got out of my car and went to get my cart. Another woman was getting her cart. We greeted each other and commented on the beautiful day. I said I was in a real fix for time. That I had to be on a boot camp conference call in 1 hour. Needed something for dinner, but more importantly needed to talk to another 3 more people about a company called Together We Can Change the World! Like I said I am in a world Changer Miracle boot camp. I asked if I could ask her questions. I asked, When spend $100.00 in THIS food store,are you going to get $25.00 back?

And when you buy this stuff does any of the money go to some kind of cause?

Did you ever get paid when you told someone to go to stores like home depot, target, kmart, walmart? she said no and wanted to know more. I got her contact. I got 2 more in there. Made it in time for my call. Now I will copy and paste this, and create a new blog. Wish me luck.
